1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the USS Academy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

USS Academy LLC ("USS Academy," "we," "us") provides firearms training, concealed weapons permit (CWP/CCW) classes, law update courses, certificate renewal services, private range sessions, and related educational programs in the state of Florida and nationally.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 for certain services) and legally eligible to participate in firearms training under federal and Florida state law. USS Academy reserves the right to verify eligibility and refuse service to any individual who does not meet legal requirements.

4. Registration and Payment

All class registrations are subject to availability and confirmation by USS Academy.
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of booking will be honored.
Groupon, coupon codes, and promotional pricing are subject to specific terms stated at the time of purchase.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before class will receive a full refund or class credit.
Cancellations within 48 hours may be rescheduled at the discretion of management.
No-shows forfeit their class fee. Rescheduling may be offered at management's discretion.
If USS Academy cancels a class, students will be rescheduled to the next available date or receive a full refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

All participants must follow safety rules as outlined by instructors.
USS Academy reserves the right to remove any participant who violates safety protocols.
Participants must sign all required waivers before participating in any range or classroom activity.
Firearms must remain unloaded and cased when arriving at and departing from any training location.

7. Certification

Certification is not guaranteed by payment and attendance alone. Course standards must be met. Upon successful completion, certificates will be provided within 30 business days. Digital certificates may be requested where available.

8. Liability Waiver

Participation in firearms training carries inherent risks including physical injury or death. All participants must sign a comprehensive waiver and release of liability before participating. By enrolling, you acknowledge these risks and agree to the terms of our waiver.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and course materials, is the property of USS Academy LLC and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

10. Photography, Video, and Electronic Devices

USS Academy may photograph or video record classes and events. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness for marketing and promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing prior to the event. Students may not photograph, video record, or livestream any portion of a class or range session without prior written permission from the lead instructor. Cell phones and electronic devices must be silenced during all classroom and range activities. Use of electronic devices on the firing line is prohibited for safety reasons. Violation of this policy may result in removal from the class.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. SMS/Text Messaging Program

By opting in to SMS communications from USS Academy LLC, you agree to the following terms:

Program Description: USS Academy LLC offers two categories of SMS messaging: (1) Transactional messages including appointment reminders, class confirmations, schedule changes, and account notifications; and (2) Marketing messages including promotional offers, event announcements, new class notifications, and special discounts. You may opt into either or both categories independently.
Opt-Out Instructions: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to any message received from USS Academy. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from USS Academy unless you re-subscribe.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your class schedule, account activity, and marketing preferences. Transactional messages are sent as needed. Marketing messages are limited to no more than 10 per month.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. USS Academy does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each text message sent or received according to your plan.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer: USS Academy and mobile carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is outside the control of USS Academy.
Age Restriction: You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to SMS messaging from USS Academy LLC. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Consent Not Required for Purchase: Consent to receive marketing SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from USS Academy.

13. Limitation of Liability

USS Academy LLC, its officers, instructors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our services.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida.

15. Changes to Terms

USS Academy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Program description: USS Academy sends SMS messages for class confirmations, appointment reminders, schedule changes, safety updates, and promotional offers related to firearms training courses.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your class schedule and interactions. You may receive between 1-10 messages per month.
Opt-out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your messaging plan.
Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
