USS Academy's Tier 1 concealed carry class pricing currently sits in the $99 to $179 per person range, depending on the specific class, time of year, and whether the session is a standard offering or a special format. Every Class Includes

• Classroom instruction (approximately 3 hours)

Costs Not Included

A few costs are separate from your USS Academy tuition.

• Florida state application fee ($55 as of 2026) — paid directly to FDACS or tax collector
• Fingerprint processing fee — paid to the fingerprint provider you use
• Rental firearm and ammunition — available on request from USS Academy; pricing provided at booking
• Your own handgun and ammunition — if you bring them, no additional cost beyond what you already own

USS Academy programs are built for every learner. First-time shooters enroll regularly and are taught patiently. Experienced gun owners enroll because they need the formal state-required certificate for their Florida CWL application. Military veterans and law enforcement officers enroll to meet Florida's specific certification requirement. What to Expect on Class Day

Location: Classes are held at USS Academy's primary partner range, 595 Donovan Crews Road, Saint Cloud, FL 34773. Additional Orlando-area partner ranges activate seasonally for capacity.

Duration: 4 to 5 hours including classroom, safety brief, live-fire qualification, and certificate issuance.

What to Bring: Valid photo ID. Your own handgun and ammunition (rental available on request). Eye and ear protection (loaners available). Water, closed-toe shoes, sleeved shirt.
